Terms of Service
1. Service description
Kyanos provides AI presence auditing and advisory services for political campaigns, advocacy organizations, political consultants, and related organizations. Our services include systematic measurement of how AI platforms represent political candidates, officeholders, and organizations; analysis of that representation; and advisory guidance on addressing gaps and inaccuracies in the AI information layer.
By submitting an inquiry or entering into a service agreement with Kyanos, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Use restrictions
You agree not to use Kyanos services or deliverables in the following ways:
- Reselling or sublicensing Kyanos methodology, reports, or deliverables to third parties without prior written authorization
- Misrepresenting Kyanos findings — including presenting findings out of context, selectively omitting unfavorable results, or attributing claims to Kyanos that are not contained in our deliverables
- Using Kyanos deliverables for purposes outside the scope of political campaign and organizational advisory work without prior written agreement
3. Intellectual property
The Kyanos methodology, scoring frameworks, report templates, and proprietary analytical processes are the intellectual property of Kyanos Technologies. Deliverables provided to clients under a service agreement are licensed for client use in accordance with the terms of that agreement.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Kyanos intellectual property to you. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute Kyanos methodology or frameworks without prior written authorization.
4. Disclaimers
AI systems — including Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Meta AI, and others — are black boxes. Kyanos measures and documents AI outputs; we do not have access to the internal processes of these systems and cannot guarantee that any specific action will produce any specific change in AI outputs.
Our deliverables represent observations of AI behavior at specific points in time. AI outputs change as these systems are updated and as the indexed web evolves. Kyanos does not warrant that any AI surface will represent a client in any particular way at any future point in time.
Services are provided "as is." Kyanos makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding outcomes, election results, or any changes in AI platform behavior.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kyanos Technologies and its principals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or deliverables, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Kyanos in the three months preceding the claim.
6. Governing law
